It's been 3 days since we visited Koh Chang. Today (18-02-2024) is the last day before returning. In the morning the weather was nice so we took the kids for a walk at Than Mayom Waterfall.

There are 3 waterfalls on Koh Chang, if I remember correctly, and this place is one of them. Having been to Koh Chang many times, this is a waterfall that I have never walked into. The walking distance from the parking lot was asked and the officer said about 300 meters so, it is good to walk.

The first part of the entrance to the waterfall is a cement bridge and paved walkways. It is very easy to walk. Today's children have Ivy. April and IM Let's walk in and have fun. After passing the cement walkway It begins as a path leading into the rocks. All the children really liked it, like they were on an adventure. We walked hardly at all to rest.

Along the walkway, there are signs with information about the trees for you to read at regular intervals. It's a very good learning experience. The children were interested and stopped to read the various signs intently.

After overcoming some obstacles, we arrived at the waterfall. Ivy dips her feet in the water and then turns to say that the water is very cold. What's special is that there are a lot of small fish in the water.

Everyone didn't hesitate and sat with their legs dipped in the water. In some spots there are a lot of fish and they come and bite and tickle each other's legs.

There is a way to climb the mountain with a rope hanging from it. P'Im tried to walk ahead of his friend. Dad asked how to get up and get down. P'Umm answered confidently that he didn't know. Let's go up first!!!

Above, there is a sign engraved from the time King Rama V visited. It is still preserved for us to see. During this time the waterfall is quite dry. There is water flowing slowly. But it gave us good refreshment.

The children sat and rested their legs, listening to the sound of the waterfall gently flowing for a while. It's time for us to walk away. It took almost an hour to go back and forth. Nature helps us have fun. Relax until you forget time.

On the way back, we walked leisurely without stopping at all. Today we walked in and out for a total of about 600 meters. The children didn't complain a single word. They are very talented. Maybe success doesn't have to be something difficult. Just overcoming tiredness Even a small difficulty like walking in and out of a waterfall can be considered an achievement. And one day we will come back again.
